I don’t really want to become normal, average, standard. I want merely to gain in strength, in the courage to live out my life more fully, enjoy more, experience more. I want to develop even more original and more unconventional traits.

bon vi·vant

bän vēˈvänt,ˌbôN vēˈväN/

1. (noun) a person who enjoys a sociable and luxurious lifestyle.

In December of 2014, I left my consulting job in Washington DC to travel with my closest gypsy pals through Southeast Asia. I wandered slightly aimlessly through Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Indonesia when I wound up in Australia.

After a series of fortunate events, I landed a job as an Events Coordinator for a bespoke Travel & Events Company in Melbourne. Fast forward two more years, and I am living in New York City, traveling as much as I can North, East, West, wherever the wind is blowing.

I encourage everyone to travel, and this blog is an outlet to help anyone plan and execute those trips.
